Taranaki
The combination of a coastline encircling a cone-shaped volcano creates a diverse landscape on the west coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
These images capture the wild spirit and mystery that evoke Taranaki -- the ocean, windswept coastline, Sugar Loaf islands, the cone-shaped volcano, lahars, mountain streams, native forest, and rolling green farmland.
People and Lifestyle
I started taking photographs of people as newspaper photographer in the late seventies. Documenting people and their lifestyle, remains one my favourite subjects.
New Zealand
The New Zealand landscape provides a wealth of opportunity for dramatic landscape images of volcanic mountains, native forest, the wild pacific ocean and rolling countryside.

Now located in a coastal village in New Zealand after 17 years of living in the mountains, I have a renewed passion for the photographing the ocean -- the ever-changing moods, wild surf and movement are inspirational.
Green Images - Environment
We live in an amazing world. The environmental images capture nature's beauty, and serve to remind us we need to make choices in our life to protect the earth for the future of our children, and the creatures we share the earth with.
California's Sierra Nevada
The photographs of the Sierra Nevada area of California were taken over a 17-year period when Jane was living in the Eastern Sierra town of Mammoth Lakes.

Garden
The New Zealand province of Taranaki has a world-class range of public and private gardens. These photographs are from a selection of gardens that are open for Taranaki Rhododendron and Garden Festival tour held each year in October - a wonderful festival if you love gardens.
