I now live in Taranaki, New Zealand after spending the last 17 years based at the ski resort of Mammoth Lakes in the Eastern Sierra mountains of California. In California I worked as editor of the Mammoth Times newspaper and the Mammoth Sierra Magazine, a quarterly lifestyle glossy publication. I also worked as a freelance photographer providing photographs to the Los Angeles Times, various magazines, book publishers, and corporations.
Now back in New Zealand I am building up a library of digital stock images of New Zealand with a focus on Taranaki. I also have a wide range of outdoor images both landscape and sports action taken in the Sierras in California.
I specialize in people/lifestyle images for editorial, and advertising. Weddings and lifestyle portraits are also part of my business.
With over 25 years of experience as a professional photographer, with a focus on photojournalism, I have covered a wide variety of assignments. I also am an established writer.
